This WebGL demo renders a spinning 3D object loaded from the server. This so-called object is stored in the server as a JSON object, which is the result of the parsing of an OBJ file exported, in this particular case, from Blender 3D 2.6. The parser is custom made by me, and it has undergone quite a bit of unit testing. I plan on posting this parser and writing up a tutorial on it some time. Also, this demonstration features much smoother camera control.


  • arrow up = zoom in
  • arrow down = zoom out
  • arrow left/right = move dude sideways
  • U = move camera up
  • D = move camera down
  • B = stop animation
  • R = rotate
