\ A Brief History of Rodrigo Silveira
My journey through the world wide web began in 1998 in a public library in Orem, Utah. The truth is that I came home that day with a 600 page book about HTML that I only checked out because my brother made fun of me for ‘pretending’ to be the kind of person that would actually read a book, let alone a 600 page book.
In the end, I actually did read the book, really enjoyed what it taught, and haven’t stopped visiting public libraries, book stores, or any other source of information about computer programming (especially when related to the internet).
Today my passion with computers, the web, and developing content and applications for the web only continues to grow. I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Brigham Young University – Idaho. I have started a few small business dealing with web development in one way or another. I have also done a lot of freelancing, but my ultimate goal is to start and operate a successful and influential company that will help take the web to the next level.
